Service-specific requirements

The service does not fully comply with the service-specific accessibility requirements of the Act on Digital Services. Identified shortcomings include, among others, insufficient accessibility of some PDF forms, missing subtitles for videos, and missing text alternatives (alt text) for images. Work to address these shortcomings is ongoing.

The digital service consists of Alva’s website and related digital content, such as customer instructions, forms, and videos. The service provides information for residential and business customers on topics such as energy, water, contracts, billing, and service disruptions. The goal is to provide customers with up-to-date information and enable smooth digital self-service.

Information on how the digital service works

The digital service operates through a web browser and does not require installation of separate software. The service can be used on various devices, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones. Users can browse content, search for service information, read customer instructions, view current notices, watch videos, and use forms. Some content is available as downloadable files, such as PDF documents.
